Calling all LADIES!! Sabrina and I want to play disc golf again during the summer. Where and when?! I can't do Wednesdays, but any other day of the week should be fine. We also thought we'd try moving it around this year, but I think it might be good if we can do it "Winter Warriors" style where we have a schedule set ahead of time? Discuss!!

I'm in! I can't do Mondays and Wednesdays at least through June. I love the idea of traveling to different courses. Hopefully that will generate more interest. I think we did Tuesdays the last time we had this going, didn't we?

For Courtney: I'm in. Maybe we can all get together for dinner and drinks and figure it out.

OK, four of us brave souls went to Arvada tonight and argued over whether my margarita was awesome. Oh wait, no, we all agreed that it was. Where was I? Ohhhh right, WOMEN"S NIGHT!!

So, Tuesdays starting next week until... we decide to quit. Or at least the end of August. Time may change each week, but we'll aim for 6 pm-ish to start.

5/28 - Johnny (6:15-ish so marsha can get down from FoCo)
6/4 - Expo
6/11 - Jellystone (private course, please be prepared to pay $5 to play)
6/18 - CHU
6/25 - Village Greens
7/2 - Bird's Nest
7/9 - Longmont
7/16 - Paco (probably the front 9...)
7/23 - Interlocken
7/30 - Springvale/Thornton
8/6 - Westminster
8/13 - Brighton
8/20 - Badlands
8/27 - Repeat some course we all love?

For funsies, we threw in a few Saturday "destination" courses as well. Here's the plan for these:
6/15 - Ghost Town**
7/6 - Conifer/Bailey
8/11 - Pueblo/Widefield day trip

**Ghost Town is a private course and a reserved tee time is necessary. We are assuming we can get tee times for 6/15. As such, please respond here (or find the Facebook event page, which I can link to once it exists) to indicate that you wish to join us that day, so that we know how many lovely ladies intent to invade Ghost Town.

Please feel free to reply here or contact me for more information! Or Michelle Burghardt. She loves giving out information :)

Instead of the "Winter Warriors" maybe we should be the "Summer Samurais" or something equally catchy :)

Ladies - I've had something come up and can't make our scheduled trip out to Conifer/Bailey tomorrow. However, I hope some of you still make it out there. We were planning to meet at 10 am in the parking lot. I'm hoping to find another weekend I can make it up there, and I'll post here if I figure it out!

July 6 (tomorrow morning)

Meet at 10am in the Conifer parking lot (where the trail head to hole 1 starts).

From Denver, take C-470 to SH-285 south towards Fairplay, approx. 13 miles. Just past the Staples/Checker Auto Parts shopping center exit Foxton Rd. Left at 2 stop signs. Follow Foxton Rd. 0.25 mile to Conifer Community Park. Enter and park on left at trailhead (across from small bldg. and play structure). Walk Valley Trail 1/2 mile to hole 1. Hole 1 is just past a small footbridge which goes over the stream.

For Tuesday's Mile High Melons, we're going to Longmont! Let's meet at 6 pm by hole 1 at Loomiller. I was hoping we could get in 9 at Loomiller and then 9 at Centennial... let me know if that sounds good to the rest of hte ladies, or if you'd rather just play one course.

Loomiller: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=360
Centennial: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=3662

Ladies Love Longmont is going to happen again next week! With so many gone for Am Worlds this week, it was some quality time between me and Brittany Kopren last night :) While I loved that, others want to play Longmont, so we're going to not torture ourselves with Paco next week and play both Longmont courses instead. July 16, meet at 6 pm by Hole 1 at Loomiller!!

Calling all Mile High Melons!!! Ladies it's time for our field trip to Pueblo/Widefield this coming Sunday (8/11). Please plan to meet in the parking lot near Hole 1 at 9:00am. We will play this course first and then work our way back toward Denver and play Widefield next. Perhaps a lunch stop in between?? This is a ladies only gathering, all ladies welcome no matter how good or bad you think you are (BOYS STAY HOME PLEASE!)!! Please let me know if you have any questions. :D
