I go to Colorado School of Mines, so I play the Mines Park course quite a bit. I am tired of playing the same old layout with basically just putters, and now basket 7 is gone (who knows when it will be replaced). So instead of doing homework, I came up with this alt. layout. The picture is the original layout with the alternate holes explained. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make this alt layout better, that would be awesome. Sorry for the big picture. Everything I tried made it worse and I wanted the layout to be readable/

I have time from 12-3 but that's it for tomorrow. I play varsity baseball and have practice. Otherwise I won't get to try it til Saturday.

Played today with tom. We changed a few things, so I edited the first post. This layout is definitely longer and more difficult. I was +5 and +3 and tom was +1 both times for the nine. The holes cause you to shoot some tough lines. I had alot of fun, and will play this layout again.

Yea, fun round out at Mines. It was interesting carrying a bag and pulling out drivers on the course. Like Chris said, there were some pretty tough lines. There was even a black ace, any way to post those?

We should have a black ace spot called "Ninja's wall of shame" maybe when Chad gets done with his cruise (rough life) he can do something like that :D

Oh man. Threw the drive hard and just demolished the chains like 50 ft in front of me. It was pretty funny.

I started working at MillerCoors last week so will likely play the Mines course fairly often as it's less than 5 min away. Layout looks fun!

I'm planning on playing the new layout again around 1230 if anyone wants to join.

After some suggestions and playing the layout a few more times, I changed the order of the holes and the mando on 5. I think it will flow better this way. Keep the suggestions coming if you get a chance to try it out.

Cool to see you changed the mando rule.
That is a cool shot w/ risk reward, which is what I was thinking...people will probably go for the ace....You know what else would be cool on that hole is if you played it as an island.

Hey guys I moved this from the "Clubs News" section to "Colorado Courses". I left a shadow til you are use to the move. I will delete the shadow next week.
